The New Face Of eCommerce - SilkFair

With all the turmoil around the net in the past month about a popular web auction sites seller feedback policy (we won't name any names) a lot of people have been looking for new avenues to sell their goods online. One such avenue is SilkFair, a new, all inclusive site that that provides some pretty handy services. SilkFair takes care of everything a seller needs:

- when a sellers sets up their store, SilkFair provides a unique URL with every store.
- Payment options are integrated into their services, options include Google Checkout, PayPal Standard or Express Checkout and Authorize.net
- Feedback - One feature I'm glad SilkFair included is feed back. This is the one tool that sellers and buyers have to assess the situation that they're about to enter into. A valuable tool.

Upon my first visit, I decided to sell an ottoman size (21"x28") to test out the site. Let me start off by saying the process was easy, there were no listing fees, and the whole setup took place on only one screen.
