Used Cars in the UK

Last semester my sister in-law studied abroad in the UK, Manchester to be exact. When she was there she noticed that a lot of the residents used public transportation, mostly because mass transit through out Europe is more widespread than here in the states but also because, according to her boyfriend, it was hard to find a reliable car that was reliable. When I found Buy Your Car, a UK based Website specializing in putting people in touch with quality Used Cars at varying price points. I browsed through their selection and I was very impressed, but then I always am when it comes to cars in Europe. Until I see a Mercedes taxi in New York City I don't think my opinion will ever change. :)

Here's a few examples of what you may find in your search: A 2003 Audi for 8000 pounds, not to bad. On the other end of the spectrum you can find a used Toyota Corollo for 1200, a great deal.
