Telescopes and Binoculars for Astronomy or Bird Watching

The night day I was up in my attic looking for some of my computer equipment, when I saw my sister-in-laws telescope in the corner. We store some of her stuff in the attic while she's away at school. Well, one thing led to another and, well, I was checking out the telescope instead of searching for an extra USB wire. I really enjoyed it, actually stopping for a moment and looking at the stars, it was relaxing.

Well, with my interest peeked I decided to look online to price out a telescope for myself, the one I had will be leaving eventually, and I found some great telescopes & night vision binoculars at Anacortes. From what I gather, they carry some popular brands of binoculars and telescopes including Celestron, Meade and Bushnell. The selection was nice and I know what it'll cost me if I want to continue my new hobby after the telescope I have is reclaimed.
