Sweet IM

Almost everyone under the age of fifty has used or at least seen an instant messenger program. Yahoo, MSN, Verizon, everyone has their own version but have you heard about SweetIM? So, what does Sweet IM do for you? Well, as most of you know, text messaging uses a lot of abreviations, like brb = be right back and lol = laugh out loud, among many others. There are also emoticons, small smiley faces that you either type out using keys, like ; = ) as ;) for a wink and so on. A lot of programs now allow you to use emoticons, small image files that are compatible with the instant messenger software. These images make the plain old keystroke smiley face obsolete and also liven up your chat experience. What Sweet IM does for you is give you a fun list of emoticons to choose from as well as nudges, sounds and so on for you chat experience.

All in All I like what I've seen from the software and I always like to try new things in whit my chat programs so I think I'll be giving Sweet IM a shot.
