Live Chat and Customer Service

For some time now, I've been using a live chat feature on my site to get more actively involved in customer service on my commercial site. People either love it or really hate it. In my opinion the live chat feature is great, but I want to know what my readers think of the idea. Please post you honest opinions about your feeling on a live chat request while you're online.
